This master’s thesis deals with selection of optimal information system for medium sized engineering company. Decision to implement a new ERP system is a big step forvard and the main target of this thesis is to make the best possible recommendation how to proceed in this task. Main solution is a new ERP system for this company with economic evaluation and important benefits of this system.

This master thesis deals with the implementation of enterprise information system of ERP category in the company METAL STEEL INDUSTRY, spol. s.r.o. In the first part of the thesis is described the basic theoretical knowledge and information for a specific issue. The aim of this work is the detection and identification of critical factors and potential risks associated with the selection, implementation and subsequent operation of the enterprise information system. The output of this work is a time and economic evaluation of the project, creating proposals to reduce risks and create recommendations for the company.

Evaluation and design of reporting of material costs

My thesis contains the analysis and following suggestion of a solution of the application for the reporting. The reporting application has a goal to display actual costing data for a selected material and be a part of the SAP applications. The description of the theoretical background that is used in the thesis is the first part of the thesis. In the following chapter is the description of the current situation and analysis of the selected company. The last chapter contains an analysis of the possible risks which are followed by the suggested solution. At the end of the thesis is an economic evaluation of the project.

This thesis focuses on business process analysis and requirements definition (resulting from this analysis) to a new information system. The work is mainly focused on the process of booking, cash desk management and inventory. It describes several information systems available on the market, which could facilitate the management of these processes. This thesis suggests most suitable of these systems for implementation.

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the WordsOnline information system of the JONCKERS company and the proposal for its efficiency and security improvement. The thesis also includes a closer look at the current state of the company, which is based on the analyzes used. Analysis of the current state of the company and its information system is based on theoretical background. Subsequently, the thesis contains solution proposals, which goal is an improvement of information system weaknesses and by it achieve higher efficiency and security.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the selection and implementation of an information system for a company with a large stock, dealing with the creation of public and private events. The company has significant requirements for quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost that will be taken into account when choosing a system. After selecting the information system, the implementation process and costs calculation will be developed.
